Classroom Driving Instruction

Normal Rates:

    • $105 for 1.5 hours long class

    • $400 for 6 Hour Package

    • $650 for 10 Hour Package

    • $210 For DMV Road Test minimum (3 hours) Anything over 3 hours $35 per 30 min.

    • $400 for drivers education 30 hour classroom portion ONLY

    • Teen packages 30 hours of classroom, including 6 hours driving: $475.00

 Our Driving Instruction Includes:

  • Approaching intersections and dealing with traffic signals and signage
  • Abrupt stops
  • Reverse driving
  • Effectively stopping, starting, and parking your vehicle
  • Shifting to a lower gear on a hill
  • Appropriate use of turn signal and horn
  • Turning
  • Use of lanes
  • Following another vehicle
  • Passing
  • Yielding right-of-way to pedestrians and other vehicles
  • Driving posture
  • Three-point turns

Teenage Drivers Education

Course Instruction

30 – Hours of Classroom and 6 – Hours of In-Car-Instruction

Total Charge for Teenage instruction: $475.00

Total Charge for Online instruction: $475.00

The school will not refund by tuition monies or any part thereof, when actual services have been rendered.
The contract constitutes the entire agreement between the school and the student.  Any breach of the contract herein will result in a fee of $50.00. Verbal assurances or promises not contained herein are not binding in any way on the school or student.

Payment for the above course may be made by CashApp, Zelle, Venmo and Apple Pay, cash, check or money order, 

Classroom Instruction

Classroom instruction periods will be conducted in group sessions. Behind-the-wheel instruction will be private lessons.

THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE STUDENT IN THE CAR UNDER INSTRUCTION, AT ANY GIVEN TIME.

Charlotte Area Driving School does not guarantee that the student will successfully pass the NC Division of Motor Vehicles Examination upon completion of the course of instruction; however, the school will exert every effort in preparing the student to more than meet the requirements of the examination.
